San Polo d'Enza is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy, located about west of Bologna and about southwest of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,529 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of San Polo d'Enza contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Barcaccia, Belvedere, Bonini, Borsea, Bosi, Ca'Bianca, Casa Bertolini, Casa Farini, Case dell'Eva, Colombarone, Contea Orlandini, Cornacchia, Ghilga, Grassano Basso, Grassano Chiesa, Grassano Scuola, Pezzano, Pietre, Pieve, Pontenovo, Rio Luceria, Sedignano, Sessanta, and Stradella.
